Yeah but Abraham has never lost.Only disputedfight was Miranda I. Taylor on the other hand along with his official losses has plenty of other disputed fights. Taylor will probably win the early rounds, maybe even look impressive behind his good jab and left hooks which are good with Abraham but in the end IMO his stamina will fail him again and Abraham has some tricky speed and counterpunching,he's so fast going from defensive mode to attack.
Disputed vs. Miranda my honky ass! Miranda TKO 4.:deal AA said he did NOT want to continue, the jaw break was caused by a punch (not the head butt), and after 10 minutes and AA realizing he'd lose if he quit, he showed one of the most courageous performances in recent memory by fighting on. BUT, still should have been ruled TKO...-2 points to Miranda for the butt.:deal Taylor's disputed decisions? You mean against such **** fighters as Bernard "****ing" Hopkins or (a still active and good) Winky Wright? :bart:bart:bart:bart
As a Taylor fan, all the stuff you just mentioned is going to make watching this AGONIZING!!! I have little doubt that JT will start out just hammering Abraham with quick and stiff combinations, and I'll be sitting there on the edge of my seat going "don't get knocked out, don't get knocked out, don't get knocked out . . . . . "
You boys should easy it up on the Abraham hating.I also thought Miranda got jobbed but......what can you do? Yes Taylor got disputed fights with Hopkins and Wright but also with Spinks. We will see.Hopefully this SMW tournament happens and Abraham vs Taylor and we will see.
To put it less childishly (like I did in my last "joke" post), do you not feel AA would either have some L's or disputed decisions if he had the resume of Jermain Taylor? EDIT: Did not see your post # 68 before submitting this.
:good You a good sport, for sure. Just been havin' fun, and thanks for takin' all in stride. For the record I DO NOT hate AA, I root for him all the time, just if it comes to Taylor or Pavlik, all that's out the window.:good
Hopkins UD12 Abraham X 2 Wright UD12 Abraham Pavlik KO8 Abraham Pavlik KO5 Abraham Abraham KO8-9 Froch.
But what does it matter/Resumes don't fight for them. And honestly I think Taylor might be a minute or 2 past his prime.
Well have to agree in a way....Taylor is ALWAYS fighting the BEST, therefore he's lost a couple lately, so we have to wait and see. But you sir, being an obvious huge fan of boxing, are really gonna sit there and try to tell me that level of OPPOSITION has **** to do with anything? You know....that Tye Fields had a hell of a record goin' there for a while too. Guess it doesn't matter who they were or how he'd fare when one of them ended up NOT being a Can? :bart:bart:bart
