I get the "arguments" about Taylor and HBO, and I was a glad/sad feeling for the outcome of Pav/Taylor I. IMO, Taylor is pretty slick though, just a little too much movement though sometimes...which CAN'T help if you're fighting a fatigue issue.
Thanks. Taylor shows no new 'problems' as the poster formerly known as Thunder points out. Still the stamina.
Hell yeah. Can't help it...I will always be a Super Judah fan. Dude can be spectacular before his wheels fall off.
But I keep pointing out that JT has been 12 rounds 9 times. It's just the big tough *******s who don't care if you beat the crap out of them that cause problems. Abraham is tough, but beating on him makes him go into his shell, and run to the ropes or a corner, and AA does not fight at a fast pace. Jermain's stamina should not be an issue.
I thought with the shots he would land on Froch that stamina wouldn't be an issue either. I was right about him landing the shots so I got it half right. JT SWEARS it wasn't stamina, he just go careless and got clipped. atsch
Break it down for me brother? Here (AA vs. Taylor) we have 2 fighters that have known tendencies to back to the ropes. Which one will be doing the backing up, 'ya figure? It seems almost considering both like to back to the ropes then explode off of them, the one pushing forward MIGHT be the one ending up in trouble.. What say you, Kimosabe?
The best pace ive seen Taylor fight at is against Winky Wright and you could argue he got outworked in that fight to. Taylor definitely has a stamina issue. This content is protected This content is protected
PLUS, and I wasn't really aware of this during the fight, Ozell evidently told Taylor to GO for the KO!! Damned Ozell, all Taylor had to do was coast in, as he'd amassed one hell of a lead.
:goodexactly. taylor's problems are mostly in his head. his confidence and discipline in a fight are weak. he depends WAY too much on his pure athleticism and if he can use his skills better, AA should be outboxed. having said that, Abraham has a good beard and great left so he might just try to wait jt out
i don't know he threw a ton at hopkins in both fights, spinks, ouma and winky. he didn't seem winded, more discouraged and bothered (especially with ouma!) when they weren't hurt. he needs to subscribe to the one round at a time philosophy
What?? Taylor vs Hopkins was one of the lowest contact fights ive seen in recent years, there was hardly any punches thrown in either fight imo. I think he ONLY beat Hopkins because of how slow the pace of the fight was, his stamina was not called into question. This content is protected This content is protected
