That's good that Pavlik move up to fight Hopkins but who has Pavlik beat in his title defensive?

But he sure as hell did not. He fought like a 21 year old, with 21 years of experience. AND Mr. Hopkins called the finest performance of his ATG career. Yeah, Kelly got 7 shades of **** pounded out of him, but he gained Mr. Hopkins respect, and Hops even wanted to take Kelly under his wing.

LMAO. You're so delusional. Hopkins fought like a 21 year old because Pavlik is slow and robotic. Maybe that's why Team Pavlik and Top Rank want nothing to do with Abraham.

It's kind of sad when a 50 year old Bernard Hopkins outpunches and outspeeds a young, undefeated middleweight champion in the prime of his career.

Now he was 50, huh? Next week your Pav hate thread will say he was 65 I'll bet. Bernard brought it, Pav should have delayed the fight for well documented reasons, but thought with his balls instead of brains. Pav is 26, had only fought 2 fights after winning his FIRST title, and went for it. Yeah, he lost, BADLY, but he went for it.

Why do you want so bad to dislike Pavlik?? Seriously, is it JT related, or something else?

I mean, it was reasonable to think Mr. Hopkins would be doing his go for the head butt, grab, and throw 12 punches a round.....like he'd been doing, but he was firing on all cylinders, and put on a hell of a performance. All credit to Bernard. What the **** else do you want us to say?

I'll respect Pavlik when he earns my respect by fighting his #1 contender instead of taking on jokes like Lockett, Rubio, Mora, and Duddy (Mora and Duddy being next on Pavlik's list according to Arum).

I hate to use the ignore list, but my skin is too thin lately I guess. It has grown by leaps and bounds. I just don't have time for some of the crap that has been going on here.

Well let's face it, anyone who puts a fighter's bruised face in his avatar as a form of mockery has a very questionable world-view. I mean these fighters put their health on the line when they step in the ring and to make light of that is really poor form. Oh...and Kelly Pavlik needs to "earn" Rui's respect. What a joke

Kelly can be proud of that photo, just as his fans are. Rui is inadvertantly reminding all of us that they ain't no quit in Kelly Pavlik. He keeps insisting that Abraham is the #1 contender, but when you fight a competetive 12 rounds with the #43 man, doesn't that make you the #42 contender? The version of AA that fought LuJaun Simon would not last 3 rounds with KP.

Since you seem to be avoiding my two questions like Pavlik is avoiding Abraham, I'll point them out to you.

1.) Can you provide an objective source stating that Wright rejected $2.5 million to face Wright?

2.) If Abraham is not Pavlik's #1 contender, can you list who you feel should be in his place so everyone here can promptly ridicule you?

    Thanks.

Wright and Williams both beat AA, Wright beats him EASY.

Researching the offer that was made to Winky is not something I'm going to do for you. I actually follow boxing, and stay abreast of the news as it happens. If you do not, do your own research. I'll give ya a clue. Since 2006 Winky has ducked Pavlik at least 6 times.

Williams has only had recent fight at middleweight, and that was against a below average fighter in Kolle. Wright hasn't fought at middleweight since 2006. And yet these two fighters should be ranked ahead of Abraham? That's some brilliant logic!

And by the way, if you can't provide the evidence, then that speaks for itself. rayhogan and myself remember correctly that Wright was going to all the major boxing media outlets and ranting about how he was willing to take a drastic paycut and travel to Ohio to face Pavlik, but Arum turned him down. Arum probably didn't want to see Wright box circles around the robotic Pavlik.

Pavlik may be a fraud, but didn't he beat Taylor twice, including once by knock out or did I miss something here?
