Jermain Taylor's record vs. TRUE middleweights...

    I see a lot of blown up jr. middles on his resume.

    Being completely honest, the only true 160 pounders I see on his resume are Pavlik and Hopkins. Don't get me wrong, beating Hopkins is no small feat but he never did so decisively - much less impressively.


    People can knock Pavlik all they want to but the fact of the matter is that he defended against a legitimate middleweight contender and won impressively...

    Just some random thoughts.

    True. Winky (who I thought beat Taylor anyway), Ouma, Spinks, Eduoard and Raul Marquez, all natural light-middles (Spinks probably natural welter)

    Joppy was a natural middle but he was past his best.
