Perhaps you should give "proper credit" to Taylor.

I don't think its completely his stamina. Look at him in the first couple of rounds and he is very jittery. He wastes a lot of motion and instead of throwing consistent punches he explodes out of nowhere. Obviously he can't change that very such since its his style but a style like that is very demanding.

I found myself screaming at the screen for Jermain to take a ****ing knee!!!! All Taylor had to do was take a knee and take some time to clear up and hold and he would have won. He totally out-classed Froch the early rounds and you could see why people (like me) enjoy watching Taylor.

Maybe, maybe not, but Taylor has had stamina issues against practically everybody that he's fought.

This is a good point. I'm surprised at how few fighters don't take a strategic knee. I know it's a point of pride, but when the choice is between that and KTFO... Granted, too, you're under extreme duress, but that should fall to the corner to be shouting out the "Take a knee" instruction.

If he goes to a championship fight again he should train for a 15 round fight so that he has good stamina in the 12th round. The only way Taylor can get his career back on track is if he beats Froch in a rematch. There is no other way. His problems are not stamina and chin but stamina and heart.

I've made lengthy posts in the past. Taylor has nervous issues in the ring and it hurts his stamina. I believe that Taylor has a solid chin, though.

Taylor needs to train more effectively so he has copious amounts of energy to make up for his nervous problems. A psychologist for the mental aspect may even be useful in his case, as I believe he is typically in good physical shape already with what he does.

I think the dude really just needs to work on his stamina. If he had it last night, we could be sitting here talking about how Taylor won the fight and looked impressive doing so.

Peep this. I don't care if Taylor ran 20 miles a day, sparred 6 hours a day, and ate two cans of spinach before the fight. If he doesn't learn how to keep his hands up he will look tired after taking clean shots from top fighters. I also think it is a matter of being nervous too. I hate to say this but,(prediction) in his next fight (unless he's fighting a complete nobody) it will be revealed that he is shot.

Thats a problem you would expect from an amateur or early pro fighter ,not a seasoned pro like Taylor. You would think by now he would become more relaxed in the ring but he seems to be on edge even more than early on in his career.Contrast that to Pavlik and Frock, who both fight totally relaxed and its no mystery why they have more at the end of a fight.Good point.

He has good stamina and chin. He was just hurt and taken into deep waters. Ali, Holyfield and others have been taken into championship rounds, they looked dead, some barely made it out of those rounds. It is about that extra something, not stamina, chin or heart. He has that extra something, just may not been developed yet. I believe he will reach the top again. Just has to pray and follow his faith. He will be back.

I think a change in trainers for someone like Richardson might be beneficial but I doubt even he could fix Taylor's **** stamina

I think it doesn't have nothing to do with his chin because he always take solid shots in his fights. Like alot of people pointed out I think its the fact that he startes getting nervous and it starts to mess with his stamina which is already the bad.. He has some of the worst stamina I've ever seen and if it wasn't for that this man would be undefeated right now..
