A in shape motivated Joshua beats Franklin easy. What has Franklin done with his career so far? Fight a faded Whyte? Should we give him a cookie now?
Joshua fought a younger and better Whyte. Joshua still stopped that Whyte. Franklin fought a faded Whyte who has been knocked out twice and still couldn't put Whyte down.
Franklin didn't come to lie down tonight and he performed far better than anybody has a right to expect given his three years of imostly-nactivity, 20 lbs (or more) of extra weight, and generally-uninspiring performances against both Rydell Booker and Jerry Forrest - both of whome are really just gatekeepers. So Franlin proved me wrong. But even if he got down to the 227 lbs he was when he fought Craig Lewis - he's not beating Joshua. Not enough reach or power. Franklin isn't exactly a featherfist - but he hasn't got heavy hands like Andy Ruiz or Wlad. And his all-around game while (as I said) better than most thought - isn't good enough for the very top level.
No chicken dance, maybe, but did you see the last 10 seconds of the fight when Franklin was launched into the ropes?
I don't think Whyte was better then (2015) - his left shoulder came unglued in rd 2 of that fight with Joshua.
Lol Andy Ruiz isn't heavy handed. I never heard anybody say Ruiz was a good puncher until he knocked out Joshua. Ruiz knocking out Joshua shows how bad Joshua's chin is not how good Andy Ruiz's power is. Joshua would beat Franklin because Franklin isn't that good
Eddie said before the fight Joshua would fight the winner of Shyte vs Franklin next Now it looks like Joshua wont fight neither They are doing everything to protect fragile joshua probably looking for another 40 yr old now instead …
Wow, you guys thought a lot more of Franklin than I did. Even at this stage of his career, Joshua has no problem with Franklin and wins by KO.
