Jermaine Taylor - Great dude, great fighter?

He is celebrating a birthday this month, after that he said on Little Rock radio station (on the 5 year anniversary of winning first BHop fight) that he was going to Miami to meet with Pat Burns. If Pat felt he could get back to the top then he was going to reunite with Pat, and make another run. He said Pat was someone that he trusts and that he knows will tell him the truth no matter what. Said he still feels he can compete and that he is good enough to win some big fights.

I believe if he gets back with Pat that anything is possible, because Pat always had him in shape and always gave him good instructions in the ring. His downfall was when he left Pat, he hasn't been the same since, got away from Jab, never conditioned properly, and set himself up to lose all h had worked for. I don't want to say he's a GREAT fighter, but I can tell you he's a Great guy, and obviously being from Little Rock, I will pull for him win/lose/draw. He never ducked anyone and took it a step further and looked for the most difficult fights he could. He was a champion and I look forward to him coming back and making some noise.
