Good Post! A lot of people, including HBO people, missed what actually happened in the 7th round of the first fight, and proved to be the beginning of the end. When Taylor TRIED TO BOX with "The Ghost" Kelly handed him his ass. First came a 1-2 where the jab missed but the right hand landed flush, then left hook-right hand, and then a picture perfect 1-2. That is what happened, and it happened while they were boxing in the middle of the ring. That's what hurt Taylor and put him on the ropes. As for Taylor fighting off the ropes: he got his ass kicked so bad in round 3 that I'd be tempted to call it 10-8. I wouldn't because Taylor fought his way off the ropes and out of trouble very well. Most people still don't get Kelly! Nobody currently at 160 or 168 can beat him. Try to box, ya KTFO with perfect combinations. Try to slug, he'll prove himself the stronger and tougher warrior, and knock ya the **** out. His 90% KO ratio is not the product of a raw slugger. Kelly is a much better boxer than he generally gets credit for. He is also much better defensively than he gets credit for. He ain't Pernell or Winky, but when did we ever see him with his face all ****ed up? Answer: Never!
