i dont think his stamina is as bad as people say really. He doesnt seem to be able to adapt very well if his opponents change their gameplan. His stamina deffinately is not as good as it needs to be though.

I think he has stamina problems clearly, and it could also be mentally related. I also think HBO overhyped him a little too much. He looked ok against Hopkins because Bernard is old and fights a slow pace anyway, but against the better middleweights he faced, he showed he has problems keeping up. Pavlik wasnt a better fighter than Taylor, but he wasnt able to keep at Pavliks pace.

I tend to agree- if the bloke sorts out his conditioning he's going to go far in the tourney, IMO.

"is it stamina or he can't finish a guy???"

That's just the same . . . he can't finish an opponent because he doesn't have stamina. He cannot continue to push and fight 100% till the last round.

He's physiologically challenged. He can't 'free style'. It's all left right, left right.

He has stamina problems and mental issues. He's gone after the first round of the tourney.

You know... Jermain is my prediction to win it. The guy has fought the top guys and has for the most part showed alot of promise.

Mostly mental issues and probably does lack killer instinct. I am not buying this stamina rubbish either. Generally every boxers workrate decreases in the later rounds and there are just a handful of very fit fighters that can maintain an insane intensity for a full 12 rounds.

tbh you can say that about any boxer who loses, his real problem is that hes just not that good enough.

He can outbox most MW but he just cant put them away, especially as he gets tired in th elater rounds

So he cant finish coz he has no stamina, apart from that he's a great fighter

Needs to work on both but stamina and finishing wouldn't be so bad if he wasn't so tense while fighting he needs to be more comfortable in the ring.
