Jermaine Taylor will win the Super 6.....if he's right.

We've seen Jermaine fail to follow orders with Emmanuel Steward in his fight against Winky Wright. We've seen him get tired against Pavlik and Froch in the late rounds but....

We've also seen "Bad Intentions" win a bronze medal in the 2000 Olympics, notably beating future middleweight champ Felix Sturm in the quarterfinals, beat Bernard Hopkins 2x to become the undisputed middleweight champion, beat Corey Spinks, draw with Winky Wright, and hand Froch's ass to him until the last 2 rounds.

If he is right, he will beat Arthur (who has he ever fought) Abraham in the first round, and roll through anybody in the tournament.

Jermaine Taylor's my darkhorse candidate to win the tournament. He has the most world class experience and the most talent. If he gets his head right and his stamina up, he's unstoppable.

**** Taylor!!! I jumped on the bandwagon after he beat Hopkins for a second time and he's done nothing but disappoint me and all his fans since then. I'm done rooting for him. If I was a betting man, i'd bet he'd be gone after the first fight.

Well the problem with Taylor is his stamina and it seems to be more mental than physical. I have no doubt he trains hard enough to go 12 rounds but half way through he always starts gassing, I mean look at the first Hopkins fight, Hopkins didn't apply much pressure or do much till late in the fight and Taylor stilled gassed I mean the guy does have the most experience and talent in the tournament but If he once again gasses out in the last half of the fight he will once again get stopped late by a big puncher.

Abraham fought Edison Miranda who is about as good as Taylor.

I think he will likely beat Abraham, but he probably won't go much further than that. I also could see him beating Froch in a rematch if they are paired up, the remainder should gobble him up. Maybe if he gets to Ward after the Kessler fight , he may have some success. Does anyone have the order of all the match ups?
I already forgot who's fighting who after the first round.
    Much appreciated.

Why **** Taylor because he did not live up to your expectations? **** you then. Taylor has been one of the few fighters that stood up time and time again against quality opposition. He ducked no one. I cant say the same for any other fighter out there. He has been on of the best champs in this era because he put it on the line every time.

    Taylor will redeem himself.

Taylor would own Miranda, and pimp him out to fat old men in Hawian shirts and Bermuda shorts.

I do not see Taylor winning the tournament. I could see Taylor knockout out Ward a Dirrell though.

I hope Jermain proves you right, but I don't think he will. I'd be happy if he just wins 2 of his first 3. If he makes it to the final, I'll be freaking elated!

I'm a big JT fan, and I cannot stomach Abraham. If Jermain wins, I'll be a very happy man. If he wins by TKO/KO, I'll probably get a freaking boner!

He was not "handing Frochs ass to him", I had it 114-113 Froch, one of the judges also had it for Froch and after the sixth round Froch basically took over the fight.
A guy who could not take out Kassim Ouma and Corey Spinks in 12 rounds Knocks Out a guy, MUCH LESS IN THE FIRST ROUND, that has arguably one of the best chins in boxing and one of the hardest, if not THE hardest hitter.
Where do you people come from:huh

Id say dirrel vs taylor is a tossup but would have to favor any of the other fighters over taylor especially ward and kessler. There is not a chance in hell taylor beats ward or kessler. Not even a close relative of taylor would think that.

To some extent I agree with the OP. Taylor at his best is very, very good.

But we are not going to see Taylor at his best ever again. He will show flashes of it against inferior opponents, and people will hope that it has returned. But it's over. He is not going to win this tournament. I'd imagine him placing 3rd-4th.

But yes, at his best he is/was very good.
