If Jermaine Taylor took his time and thrown more efficient punches to the BODY and head Pavlik would have been finished!!!

LOL!! I'm like you Booradley! Any time I see someone attack PW on the threads I gotta defend! Thats how it is with you and KP!!

All I'm saying is that JT threw so many waisted head shots that it gave KP time to gather himself! At the end of the round KP stumbled in the rope so he still wasn't on steady feet!!!

yeah i mean... jt definitely had what it takes.... maybe that fight was bad timing... up until that point taylor never really fought a guy who could fire back... he built his name off beating slick fighters but the first time he met a big time banger he cracked under pressure

maybe with a little more experience the outcome woudl have been different.... but i guess in seeing froch you could also say it wouldn't...

i just think in general when the waters get deep jermain taylor panics

Pavlik has pretty goodpowers of recuperation, he actually pressuerd Tayloat the end of the round. Taylor might have scored a second knockdown, but Pavlik is tough.

Besides, wouldn't it have required Taylor to be a different fighter than the one he actually is? So in reality, is Taylor actually capable of taking his time, stay cool when the heat is risin in the ring? I don't think so. Taylor has athletic talent, heart but very little ring intelligence. There is this idea that a fighter could just change his mental makeup and perhaps some can, like Wlad. But generally, this is a talent in itself, something Taylor doesn't have.

I have no time for "what ifs" or excuses in boxing. The result of each fight is all that matters. The only thing I can't stand is a robbery, other than that let the chips fall where they may.
