Jermall calls out Bivol in person

Charlo is underrated on this forum and is a threat to anyone at 160. However, Bivol is a totally different animal and is handily beating guys at 175 despite being undersized.

 

Nah dude, I watched that fight back twice, Chenko won 7 rounds, there's no case for Charlo winning 7. Charlo's work was not that clean despite commentators rimming him

 

Haney should challenge Charlo at 135 or140, it's only fair based on this challenge.

 

Lol Bivol isn't that good. Because he beat a small Canelo that mean Bivol is some kind of stud now? I could see if this was Beterbiev a guy with a monster puncher. Bivol is a guy who runs and throws slapping punches. Bivol landed 20 percent of his punches against Ramireiz. This is pathetic. Do you know why Canelo chose Bivol or Beterbiev? Because he thought light punching Bivol would be a easier fight. The moment any boxer does any you will always see the casuals get excited.

Bivol isn't anything special. His style isn't a style that will bring people to watch him box or make tons of money. Bivol should take any money fight he can. Be it him losing 6 pounds or not.

 

Exactly just pathetic from Charlo why not be a man like Canelo was and challenge him for his titles in his weight class.

 

I don’t know, for a guy who isn’t good, Bivol is undefeated and just beat Zurdo Ramírez, another undefeated fighter who looked to be two weight classes bigger. He made it look too easy, in dominant fashion. He also schooled Canelo and offered to come down to Canelo’s weight to fight for his belts at 168 for a rematch. Canelo won’t do it, but it’s not because Bivol isn’t good.

Bivol also has a win over Joe Smith Jr. and really only has one guy in his division who can challenge him. The guy is top five PFP (I have him at three). If he’s not good, who IS good? You have let your hatred blind you. If anything, Charlo has not earned the right to fight a guy as good as Bivol. I think Bivol was just being nice.

 

What you fail to realize is Bivol knows how to keep distance, has great timing and works extremely well behind the jab. He also has great footwork. Add all those skills up and you have a well rounded fighter. Not a crowd friendly style if the crowd only wants to see knockouts, but don't be fooled into thinking Bivol is just some average fighter. He is a cut above.

 

I know it suits the narrative of clowning Charlo (which I dig) to also call him a weight bully, but the camera angle makes him look bigger than he is here. They are similar height (Charlo may even be a fraction taller, closer to a legit 6’) but Charlo is pretty wirey, Bivol would have 10lbs or so on him. All the more reason it would be a one-sided fight.

 

Looked like he was trying to call him out right there, on the spot. Trying to be cute.

 

Now what gives Charlo the idea hes a legitimate challenge for Bivol ??? He's fought no one. He's too nervous to give Matt Korobov a rematch because he knows Matt beat him made him look like a novice till he ran out of gas having taken the fight at short notice. Mall STILL couldn't put an exhausted Korobov away

 

He also waited for SD to have tough fights with Jacobs and GGG before he went anywhere near him. That is why we sing "Chickity China the Charlo Chicken"
