What are your thoughts on him? credit to him for beating a undefeated talent like J-rock in a fight I picked him to lose in. To me Charlo is quite rudimentary but he carries power and boy does he know it, I think J-rock would have outpointed him had it gone the distance but he didnt have the chin to keep going long enough. He can't fight his brother (WBC champ), Lara's his sparring mate (WBA) which leaves Canelo who I imagine is gunna drop the WBO belt to avoid Andrade. If Andrade manages to get that WBO belt who would you guys be picking to win that fight in a unification fight with any of the champions? 154 is a stacked division with alot of talent in the top 5 but it will be like the HW division where none of the top dogs really get it in.
I'd pick Andrade. He's super slick and has amazing skills. Not too sure about his chin but I see winning a UD against Charlo. Unless Charlo knocks him out of course...
Andrade's best win was against Martirosyan and he did ok. He'd give Canelo and Lara good fights, but I don't see him beating either one. Andrade's becoming the new Lara, but a poor man's version.
I think his more versatile than Lara, Lara is more a back foot fighter and rarely leaves that mode whereas Andrade can get more aggressive.
Yeah I would pick him to school Jermall but he has to have a chin coz Jermall can crack. What about Lara v Andrade?
Taking Andrade in that. VS Jermall would be funner. Andrade is a boxer-puncher and Charlo is more of a slugger so that would make fun matchup.
This guy Andrade as talented as he is one inactive sob, he better pick it up both his boat sails away completely.
His management is an absolute joke. He's only 28 still way in the prime of his career. Lets hope we could see some fights and not be a wasted talent. I'm very intrigued by him. A 154 pounder southpaw with power, speed, and sleekness.
If Canelo drops the WBO title to avoid Andrade is that a duck? Or is it another "smart business move"?
I think he's not as good as he could of been, everyone looking at his talent from three years back would of thought he would be p4p by now. It's his own fault he tried to **** over his team with roc nation and it back fired.
Yea but nothing changed talent wise, he's still as good as ever and he fought in June. You're only saying that because of him not fighting enough. Impossible for him to be anywhere near p4p unless he starts getting in the ring more. This isn't some guy who's 32-33 with wasted management. Like I said before, he's only 28 and still very much in his physical and boxing prime.
