The Charlo brothers appear more interested than Adrien Broner in working with British promoter Eddie Hearn.

Jermall Charlo told ESPN.com on Wednesday night that he and his twin brother, Jermell Charlo, are “definitely open to” discussing potential promotional deals with Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing USA. Jermall Charlo (27-0, 21 KOs), the WBC’s interim middleweight champion, and Jermell Charlo (30-0, 15 KOs), the WBC super welterweight champ, both work with adviser Al Haymon, but neither fighter has a contract with a promoter.

Jermall Charlo told .com that he has discussed with Haymon their plans to explore promotional deals with Hearn.

We’re definitely open to it and to hearing what he has to say,” Jermall Charlo said. “And me and my twin brother are willing to work something out if it makes sense. Of course, I want to hear what he has to say.”

Broner went as far as to call Hearn’s three-fight, $6.75 million offer a “slave deal” when he publicly turned it down Wednesday through his Instagram account.

Jermall Charlo also told ESPN.com that representatives for Bob Arum’s Top Rank Inc. have inquired recently about signing him and his brother to promotional contracts. Arum also wants to add top fighters to showcase as part of his company’s exclusive deal with ESPN.

These 2 young lions would add some good value to Matchroom USA. Eddie already has Jacobs

the light middle one is best staying with pbc because they have all the light middles and welters who might move up because if he signs with hearn haymon might get bitter and charlo will have no decent opponents apart from brook who no way is fighting him lol

Would signing with Hearn remove Haymon as an advisor?

Not really but Big Al will no longer chose the opponents, the venues, the TV platform, thats the promoters job, if your a real promoter.

The Charlo twins should be Eddie's top targets for Matchroom USA. They both have exciting fighting styles and look and behave in a way which makes them highly marketable.

I'm glad some known names are taking interest in this new venture. Broner didn't just say no he was spiteful with it. What for? It looked a good offer to me but just a no thank you would of done.

I don't know if this venture flops or becomes a success but on the face of it it looks like a good thing for boxing fans so I just hope it gets a fair try.

You asked a stupid question. That's like asking if a fighter will drop their manager for signing with a promoter, or if a fighter will drop their coach for signing with a promoter.

    Why are you so dumb?
