    WTF is with these guys!?!?!!? 31yo.... and BARELY starting to step up in comp?? I am admittingly still a fan of them..but godamn...I don't care to see a JrMW/MW version of Gary russell jr....

    If anyone who is a Jermall fan dares smack talk Canelo OR GGG ever again, I'm just going to laugh at them. If you are a Jermell fan, no beef with you, your boy is actively pursuing the best and/or belt-holders at 154 and making serious attempts to unify. 'Mall fans though can take a long walk off a short cliff.

    I put the blame on showtime for not nixing this and instead making this a headliner for a card.

    Sulecki is OK for a stay busy fight (def not a headliner) and really, middleweight is weak. I'm not sure what Charlo is supposed to do. GGGs 2022 (maybe rest of career) is set,, Andrade is moving up, really the Munguia fight is the one to make for both guys.

    In all honesty, if you believe that it was Golden Boy's demands that nixed the Munguia fight then yes, this is the correct take in terms of "He's got to fight somebody!". My problem with this is that Charlo has had both years and legitimate multi-million dollar offers to take/make bigger fights and he's balked at all of them. Meanwhile, old man GGG is unifying with Murata, and Andrade is moving up to SMW to actively pursue a Canelo fight, and Charlo continues to not be involved in meaningful fights. At some point, you stop caring why a pattern exists and only note that there is a pattern.

    Charlo is just another middleweight contender, well paid, admittedly, but appears to have no ambition to be world champion.
    His email style Haney trinket, suits him just dandy, thank you very much!

    Agreed, tune ups and stay busys are fine, as long as your staying busy for something. Lot of these guys are content collecting OK paychecks (or in some cases pretty good ones) for years with the hope that they will get a lottery mega payday (I.e. canelo currently) with doing just enough to stay relevant in the meantime.

    I still lay blame on Showtime as they are paying for this to be a headliner and could of passed on this.
