I fear BJS. So many uncompetitive years must surely catch up with him. How many years since Lemieux ?
OMG charlo would stop him in humiliating fashion! I don't know if BJS would ever fight again after that it would break him mentally as well as physically
I'm not especially high on the bigger Charlo--he's capable but not overly gifted physically or skills wise-- and I think Saunders could stay out of trouble often enough to earn a decision.
This. That Saunders was slippery and I could see him giving problems to an athletic puncher like Jermall, but I think there is alot of time and space between Lemieux BJ and fat, party hound BJ. Charlo by violent KO early.
160 Saunders take Charlo to school. Charlo robbed Korobov and was undeserving of a victory against Deryvachenko. Also arguably got beat by Trout. Considering these guys are 35yr + old..160 BJS would make Charlo look silly... Charlo has a punchers chance.. 168, Charlo probably smashes him to pieces
Saunders hasn't shown the ability to take anyone of Charlo's caliber "to school". His best performance is still Lemiuex, who is a good fighter, but also a limited banger. Charlo has shown susceptibility in fights against quality lefties, like Korobov and Trout, but Saunders has likewise struggled with plenty of guys he seemingly should have beaten clearly. To be honest, I'm not convinced Saunders is better than Korobov or Trout. The Saunders of the Lemiuex fight possibly edges Charlo, but if it happened this year, I would favor Charlo by decision.
Nah, Charlo beats him at anytime. BJS looked great against Lemieux, but that's not saying much. Charlo has faced better guys, therefore it stands to reason, he had a few tough nights out.
No chance in hell that someone who went life and death with Matt Korobov wins more than 4 rounds against BJS, and I find Saunders annoying and overrated. I have no idea how anyone thinks this would be a stoppage win for Charlo.
