GGG was past prime in the first Wranger fight, and competed but struggled against the highly capable Deverychenko. This would be a good fight but both of these fighters are headed in different directions, Charlohas decent power, and GGG is taking too many shots.

Well first of all Derevyanchenko with a GGG and with Charlo, are on different levels. With GGG he was better prepared and not worn out by GGG.

Secondly S.D. had more success with GGG because he likes inside fight where GGG wasn’t comfortable with that. Charlo doesn’t have it.

Charlo would loose to GGG by UD, if he tries to be more open he would be KO’d. GGG would outjab Charlo and will wear him down. Charlo doesn’t have inside game of Derevyanchenko, nor his persistence.

I don’t get that Charlo hype... MB when GGG will be 41 Charlo might have some chance, but other than that no Charlo doesn’t have chance.

GGG also isn't a stumpy tank man. He's only slightly smaller than Charlo, so that means Charlo is going to be in firing range a lot more.
It's not about hand speed, youth etc., it's about skill and power and GGG still has those. Just like Povetkin.
Charlo will get cocky and end up doing the Curtis Stevens ghost face.

I feel sorry for Trout, he’s been robbed so many times now.

Its a 50/50 fight . styles make fights

Charlo had greater success against derevyanchenko using his reach and athleticism so he would not engage derevyanchenko head on . charlo had bouncy legs to get out of the way .

Jacobs also had this in his favor .but jacobs did not apply the jab as much .

Ggg never had bouncy legs and always has been more of a still target which was perfect for derevyanchenko . I've always said this .

Ive always said these things. Derevyanchenko could not do to charlo with what he did to ggg.

    Athleticism plays a role .

Charlo vs GGG. Is a toss up. Maybe you would have to lean towards the younger charlo by a slight margin .

See charlo was getting backed up against sergey . i mean i never seen charlo back up against anyone . so i know ggg can back up charlo .

Both ggg and charlo have good power .i give ggg the edge in power slightly more tho .

Charlos size , speed , athleticism and youth are advantages for him. However even his size is a disadvantage in a way.

You see we've only ever seen ggg back up and get here by body shots .( canelo , derevyanchenko) both fighters who were shorter and have a history of attacking the body better.

Imagine being 6'1 trying to get inside to attack ggg body . he'd be giving away height.

So body shots is out of the question.

    Another thing is charlos jab.

Seeing derevyanchenko vs charlo was a good thing .

Derevyanchenko was using the eastern european stalking method on charlo and cutting off the ring .

Ggg however has a piercing jab at distance that he uses well on distant moving targets

Charlo vs GGG would be a battle of jabs.

Charlo speed and athleticism would help counter ggg at will everytime ggg shoots his shot .

Charlos size power reach athleticism no doubt giving him a huge chance in beating ggg .

It would be competitive i tell you .

    I got it 50/50.

As for someone getting knocked out .

It would depend whos more commited to getting the knockout.

Ggg is fighting kamil next in November . i hope he considers charlo after . if not in my opinion its a duck.

With all being said a slight favor to charlo. The speed , and counters would make the difference

Facing Charlo at this point in his career would be a better option than chasing around Canelo for another year. I still don't see him going anywhere near Charlo, I'm a big fan but I think GGG doesn't like the size and range of Charlo.

Dude, based on your posting history, you can barely form a coherent sentence. The post above is complete with excellent points and actual analysis.

That ain't you, breh. Who did you copy + paste from?

Kidding, but that is basically covering most of the points I made on the last page.:D Only a more fleshed out, less praise for Charlo version.

If Jermall was wise, this would be the fight he goes for. Beat 3G in a more impressive fashion, or in other worlds at least legitimately, he'll have that over Canelo.

3G is clearly passed his prime, but still formidable. But it will be hard to tell how much 3G has left. But things like this have backfired before.
