Who wins? Does Charlo outbox and outmanouvere the big man en-route a mid-to-late stoppage or points victory, or does Munguia with his slugging style grind & wear down Charlo to a stoppage.

JM's D needs to get better or he gets pummeled. Could be a good scrap.

Stoppage for Charlo. Munguia 's defense is awful.

Munguia would be Charlo’s punching bag. Would be exciting while it last though

Yeah, you have to pick Charlo. Would be an exciting fight while it lasted though

Charlo but will be fun to watch. Never know though, Munguia could catch him.

    Charlo.

Munguia wouldn't be able to physically outmuscle Charlo

Minguia is still developing but assuming he’s close to the guy I’ve watched so far, Charlo knocks him out. He’s just too slow and gets hit too much. That’s not a good combination against a guy who punches hard like Charlo. Charlo isn’t the slickest but he’s slick enough to avoid some punches and land some of his own. That said, I’d watch this one for the fireworks. He might catch Charlo with a big shot but Charlo would be a heavy favorite.

I think it'll be somewhat competitive as long as it lasts with Munguia having his moments, but Charlo is always in control, never in any real danger & stops him between 6-10 or gets a pretty wide decision win (9-3).

I think Charlo would stop Mungia. would be entertaining for a while but eventually a one-sided beatdown by Charlo. Charlo mixing up body and head shots on the very hittable Mungia

Although I tend to agree with you. I think it's a question of pace and space. I don't think JM will allow Charlo to fight his fight. I can see JM crowd Charlo, keep punching when Charlo wants to move. I don't think he takes everything away from Charlo, not even close, but he may have moments in the early parts of the fight. That being said, Charlo is a far superior fighter, no doubt.

Really good fight. I like it for both guys. Taking on & beating Mexican Mungo would bring a lot of credibility to Big Charlo's championship reign. They also need to feed him compelling opposition if they want him to become a bigger star (or a star if we're being harsh). Mungo qualifies in that department. This is a title defence boxing fans will want to see.

Good fight for Mungo also b/c if he's good enough, it's winnable. And he may be good enough. On a good night, I think he's capable of being a little bit special. He'll know coming in that's what he needs to be if he's going to win.
