Hurd is huge at 154, and should move up. Charlo and Hurd are both young, undefeated fighters who can crack.

    Who wins?

Charlo destroys Hurd. Besides beating an inactive and shot Trout and a past prime Lara I'm still not sold on Hurd.

Charlo can punch, has a solid skill set, and almost just as big as Hurd. If Hurd tries to block Charlo's punches with his face he gets put on the canvas and stays there.

He should only move up if he cannot make 154. End of discussion.

this new found power of charlos has been against jackson who has a proven glass chin hatley who isn't that good and a unproven prospect that had fought no one I would pick hurd based on him beating trout and lara

Hurd absorbs everything for 8 rounds and then destroys Charlo in the championship rounds with unmatched work rate like he does everyone else.

Hurd is such an enigma. No matter who you are you can only absorb so much punishment and Hurd has absorbed a lot his last two fights. If I were betting I would put money on Charlo. Something about those two brothers. They seem like they have captured lightning in a bottle. Interesting fight but you have to give the edge to Charlo.

60/40 for me with slight edge to charlo's superior boxing skills is my guess.

Not sufe if either can ko the other.
I think charlo will play it cautiously & box.
Hurd can punch but seems to be more of a volume war of attrition type as opposed to a one time cracker.
    Good fight lets see it!

154 has been dead for years, it will come back though looking at the prospects coming up :)

For Charlo to win, he has to outbox Hurd at long range. When the fight moves inside, he has to flurry quickly to land 2-3 punches and immediately tie up and walk Hurd backward, until the ref separates them. Rinse and repeat for as long as the ref will allow.

If Charlo lingers inside too long and fails to move Hurd backward, Hurd will wear him down to a clear decision or late stoppage.

Either way, I think Hurd takes this.

Jermell knocks Hurd out if he fights remotely close to the way he fought Trout and Lara.. he’s a lot stronger than Trout who was very close to stopping Hurd(people seems to forget that part) and in his prime with better stamina than Lara(who likes to potshot).. There’s no way he’s taking that many shots from Jermell.. So the question is do you believe in Hurds boxing skills because he will not bully Jermell

Jermall vs Hurd at 160 would be a great fight but I feel Jermall who has a much better jab than Jermell will out jab Hurd until the opening for the hook presents itself then KO..

Honestly Hurd is starting to sound like Keith Thurman and Adonis Stevenson in his last couple of interviews.. you know what I’m talking about if you know what they do when Spence or Kovalev name comes up.. He’s mentioning fighting everybody but the guy who has the same manager and same network as him (Jermell)
