Back then pbf was the king but ggg didn't have a fight with pbf lined up he refused to fight ward at 168 but was pursuing fights with jcc Jr and froch there. Charlo was not pursing fights with other 168 pound fighters other than the king in Canelo. Big difference there.

Charlo never said everyone at 168-154 can get it. He only said he wanted to fight Canelo at 168 the same Canelo every boxer in the world would fight if they could. GGG said 154-168 prior to becoming an established champion due to not getting fights or at least fights against top names.

Do you believe that a fighter in a certain weight class is avoiding another fighter in a heavier or lighter weight class if they do not fight?

Lol, I forgot how bad Charlo´s accuracy could be.
Montiel´s body work brutalized him and made him fight sloppy. It´s not that Charlo can´t punch, it´s just that he ended up telegraphing everything. And in the last 3, there were a lot of arm punches from Charlo.
Charlo´s power is a lot better than his skills. Last night his power was taken away from him.

Just look at the last two rounds! Montiel is seeing almost everything from a mile away, besides the occasional jab.
