    He has a SD loss to the guy Ponomarev just got a MD over.

    Never seen the guy fight, I assume Spence KOs him in the mid rounds

    He's a nobody.

    This is the thing with Gaymon. Nobody makes any progress.

    Fighters that would be good for Spence's development (i.e. faded former title holders, or gatekeppers) such as Robert Guerrero, Paulie Malignaggi, Luis Collazo, Devon Alexander etc get used in meaningless fights with top guys such as Garcia, Thurman, Porter, Khan (rather than them guys fighting actually fighting each other)
