    Round 11: Iwasa TKO, One little stumble by Tapales cost him a TKO, I didn't think he was actually hurt but oh well he should have been on his feet by 8.

    Dumb ref. Doesn't know Tapales' history. Yeah he was still shaky but he has fought through adversity in a lot of his world class wins. Let that continue. He's dangerous when hurt. Credit to Iwasa and his big ass head.

    Tapales hit the back of his neck on the bottom rope when he fell and still beat the count and looked perfectly lucid. Urgh. This stoppage is a besmirching of his toughness and doesn't belong on his record.

    edit: replay shows he did stagger a bit after he beat the count, his footing losing its solidity momentarily, but if the dumb ref had been paying attention to see the back of his neck hit the bottom rope he could have factored that in and realized that contributed to his extra moment of disorientation. :shakehead:

    Really nice left hand, though.
