He doesn't look good at all, he looks very pale and in need of a good feed!!!

TBF he said he's taking this fight for the fans and there is nothing left at 154 for him except for a pipe dream fight with Canelo.

160 might be a better fit for him if he is draining too much.

I always find it funny when the fan boys say Canelo must move up he's too big for 154 ffs have you seen the division?

The Charlo's, Andrade, Hurd, Lubin and JROCK all make him look like a welterweight and there are others like Willie Nelson and Tony Harrison who are huge as well.

Liam Smith dwarfed Canelo tbf he just has no pop, and is **** weak
Lara and Trout were just as big as him as well, Canelo is perfect at 154

Canelo isn't just right for 154 lol. J Rock, the Charlo brothers (I'm pretty sure they are both the same size...I get them mixed up all of the time) and Canelo should all be fighting at 160. Liam Smith is actually a big 154 and Canelo was considerably bigger than him. I worry for the fighters I mentioned (not Smith) for cutting so much weight as I'm pretty sure that it becomes detrimental to the body. They probably know better than me, but I imagine that at this point they are all risking organ failure later in life. Boxing is already a dangerous sport; you don't need to make it worse for yourself.

Wow he looks like death and I thought Canelo looked bad, good point about about Canelo I've no problems in him staying at 154 if he can make the cut but he would have to defend against those bigger guys you've mentioned.

Yep totally agree, with regard to Canelo I've always said he's such an ultimate pro when it comes to making weight but when you see em on the scales like this regardless of how much they weigh the day after they are subjecting their bodies to torture quite literally and it's gonna end up in someone getting hurt?

Lemme guess you think Canelo weighs 185 fight night?
185 fight night is what true 168lbers like that old kazakhstani guy weighs fight night

Canelo is no more than 170lbs fight night, typical of his division

Canelo is bigger than the big guys in his division.
Canelo has missed weight before and has gotten bigger since then.
Canelo has said that he doesn't think he can make 154 anymore. He probably struggled to make 155 (logically).

This has absolutely nothing to do with Golovkin. Why do you guys that dislike Golovkin so much bring him up in every one of your posts? It's so weird to me. I LIKE Golovkin and I don't think about him as often. The only one of you Golovkin detractors on this board that doesn't do that is drenlou. The rest of you are...kind of obsessed.

Canelo has never officially missed weight ever, that is a lie.

I think the Angulo fight got changed late to 155lbs and obviously all of his other 155lbs fights were scheduled well in advance.

Canelo has never weighed more than 155lbs at a weigh in, plenty of fighters fight most of their careers above weight unless titles are on the line, that isn't unusual at all. 1lbs above the weight is legal in most cases if no titles are on the line any way. FFS Anthony Yarde has never come close to making 175lbs and he's a ranked light heavyweight

Seems like prior day weigh-ins didn't make weightcutting any safer, because they now just cut even more weight at a dangerous level because they have over a day to rehydrate.
Guys that fought at 160 when it was same day weigh-ins now just fight at 154 and so on.

No he missed weight, had to pay a fine to Angulu, and Angulu agreed to fight him at 155 after he already missed weight.
Obviously the 155 fights are scheduled in advance, but that doesn't mean that he isn't more comfortable at 155 than at 154, which I think is silly since it is just one pound but that is still one pound less you have to cut.

We get better fights this way, honestly. Even in the amateurs with same day weigh ins guys still cut a lot and because they don't have a time to adjust to it, their performance often suffers. It really is better this way. It isn't even more dangerous (for the opponent nor the guy doing the bulk of the cutting) when you factor in how your body would respond to cutting weight and then going into a fight that same day.

I thought the arrangement was made before the weigh in? Can't remember now tbf

Missing weight isn't necessarily a sign a guy is too big for a division, I saw Frankie Gavin miss weight @ 147 and the guy should be fighting @ 140lbs, he's a midget

Canelo is an average sized modern day JMW, of course he looks like a little tank he's only 5ft7, compare him to Jarret Hurd who is miles bigger and he looks tiny.

Most of the top 10 are at least as big as Canelo if not bigger, and guys at 160lbs lke CEJ will look like heavyweights in the ring with him

It wasn't made before the weigh in.

He isn't average sized. The division just also has guys that cut a lot of weight, but Canelo is the biggest among them. I wasn't even mainly talking about Canelo; I named a few others. I don't see why you decided to cling to my Canelo comment and act like what I'm saying isn't true.

Sometimes you miss weight because you aren't dedicated. Sometimes you miss weight because you are just too damn big lol.

You have eye's man don't tell me you honestly think Canelo is the biggest at 154?
Hurd is 6ft 1 and solid as a rock, miles bigger than Canelo

Okay? The point remains that he cuts a lot of weight and I think that it is detrimental to his body so I would like to see him move up in weight if only for his own body.

Charlo getting starched, murked, got, koed, put to sleep, his LASIK surgery is getting reversed! I don't care if his weight cut went smooth. Homeboy does not have the skill to beat jrock!
