While I agree that at the time of thier fights Yeller was similarly sized as Trout and Lara, but he's got a far larger bone structure and is younger so hes still growing out.
As for the lubins, Jrocks and Charlos....theyre built longer but thinner.

So, the 21 y/o Lubin will likely make his name at 154 but of course will eventually move N wjen he outgrows LMW.
I see the same future for Harrison, the Charlos, and even Spence, but until GGG is gone there is absolutely no avenue of success they can take without being labeled like Yeller, BJS, Eubank Jr, Sergio, Sturm, Barker, Geale, Cotto, Chavez Jr, and now Jacobs have been.

Jermall is a big guy, I'm surprised he can still make 154 lbs. Depending on how well he hydrates when he eventually moves up to 160, he'll probably end up being a big MW as well.

Anyway I don't put too much stock into how "deathly" these fighters look during weigh-in's, IMO it's all about how well they rehydrate on fight night.

What a ridiculous statement, you're a Canelo fan ain't nothing wrong in that but why would you even try and claim he weighs less than 170 when he's already weighed more than that when he used to weigh on fight night, since then he walks around even bigger.
I'd be interested to know what Cotto walks around at since Cotto looked like a midget against Canelo,I've no problem with Canelo at 154 but let's not pretend he's small at the weight as the eveidence is there in front of us,find me another guy at that weight that looks as fat as Canelo and I'll eat my hat?

None of those guys going to 160. Only one free belt floating around and that's on BJS,and even any of them against him are 50-50. We know they all gonna stay put until GGG grows old or gets knocked off that throne. They will chop off a leg to make 54 first.

There are about four young guys at 54 that would beat Canelo.

Canelo has already beat the #1 Lara, #2 Trout, and #3 Cotto Jr.MWs. If Charlo who arguably got a gift decision against Trout wants some Cinnamon then Haymon will have to play nice.

The Lara fight you could argue Canelo lost. You could argue that the Trout fight should have been a draw. (I don't think either one of these things, but loads of people do)

I think the best guy is Andrade. Lara needed a LOT of help to beat Vanes Martirosyan. The ref gave Vanes a BS point deduction and you could argue that Lara lost the fight even with that. He just simply doesn't output enough clean effective punches for my liking. Sure, he is evasive, but when you are landing the same (or even less) than your opponent and the shots you catch him with aren't even hard does it really matter?

None of those guys would beat the Charlo's, Williams, or Andrade. They would all trash Cotto especially.

Anytime a fighter is whining about making the weight then he's too heavy for that weight. At this point Canelo and Jamall is too big. The younger guns like Hurd and Lubin will outgrow 154 but at this time they are comfortable making the weight so I see no problem with them not moving up and I don't actually think that they will have a problem when that times comes.

    How do you figure?

LOL.. Again, how do you figure Andrade is on top? What criteria are you using to make such a claim? And Austin Trout already arguably beat Charlo FFS.

Its amazing how people are proven wrong yet instead of admitting theyre wrong theyll change the argument to fit their narrative. This guy says Canelo never missed weight gets corrected on his bs and now switches the argument to how guys not making weight isnt a sign theyre too big for the division then brings up Frankie Gavin who is completely irrelevant to the conversation. Then goes on to bring canelos height which makes him look bigger. smdh at the clowns on this site. A well deserved boot for this clown.

I consider Andrade one of the top 154 pounders. I don't think Lara with his jab jab, left cross limited style would beat Andrade. I also thought that Lara easily beat Martyrosian that last time. My point was that people tout Canelo, but his best wins are all controversial. He got a gift against Lara and Trout. Cotto isn't that good. Beating a Martinez with the bionic knee, and the catchweight doesn't make him good. That is why Cotto is lining up that past it scrub Kirkland, instead of one of the viable young guys at the weight class. Any of the guys I named would send Cotto off with a retirement beating.

Very subjective statement. You ever thought that the reason Canelo has a few close wins is because he's the only Jr.MW willing to fight everyone. He is also the Jr.MW with the best record.

Until any of the other Jr.MWs start fighting each other they will be a level below Canelo.
