Jermell Charlo calls out Floyd.

"I'd definitely take that tune-up fight with Floyd," Charlo told TMZ Sports. "But, he ain't gonna step in there with no savage like myself."

Charlo gave Mayweather some safer options.

"Go back and fight that old Manny Pacquiao again ... or get a rematch with Conor," Charlo said.

As for the fight itself there's bigger and better fights than Floyd at 154 for Charlo.

Why would Floyd fight anyone considered more dangerous than Manny for his tune-up fight?

He's probably going to target some regional fighter from Japan to help build his brand over in Asia followed by fighting Manny sometime next year, probably in May. If he markets everything well he could probably make around a billion dollars and strengthen his brand in the Asian market within the next 12 months.

If he doesn't fight some local Japanese fighter, I could see him take on someone on the level of a Victor Ortiz or Josesito Lopez.

 

Charlo is too big for pbf he needs to stop and worry about calling out hurd.
