Recently, Jermell had an interview with The Last Stand, where they put him in the hot seat by asking about Jermall's potential return to boxing, their respective records, and his take on the Plant pimp slap incident. What's intriguing is that it appears there's more disappointment within the family than anything else. Jermell seems to be taking charge to relieve the pressure on his brother, and most notable is where Jermell alludes to the fact there might not be anything wrong with Jermall, other than his social life outside the ring. On top of that, he was embarrassed for his own image when his twin was pimp slapped by Plant. In regard to him being out of the ring: "I think that he surrounded himself with the wrong people. I think also when you live off of something that’s like that makes you have to bounce back; if you’re going to bounce back, go ahead and bounce back and fight for that every day. Let that be your fight. This content is protected it’s the fact that you can’t be content with having the issue other than fixing the issue. So, I think my brother is around who you surround yourself with, who’s there in your ear trying to push you to get better or get off of that level that you at and push you back where you need to be.” Asked whether he thinks Jermall will make a return: "Truthfully, I really don’t know because I’m not in his household; I don’t talk to him every day. I do wish him the best. I do hope he bounces back, but to answer that question, it’s going to be really tough for me to answer. "He’s got a family to feed, a lot of children to take care of, bills to pay, and a life to live. So, I don’t want it to be when it’s all said and done, This content is protected They need to be going to ask Jermall, but I’m going to be doing everything that I can. In my moment, I got to assist that, and this is it. So if this is what I got to go through, I got to go through it." When asked about Jermall getting pimp slapped: I thought it was BS. The slap could have been a turning point to rejuvenate Jermall's career; however, it seems to have pushed him deeper into the realms of obscurity. Not only is Jermall screwing up his own career, he's now impacting Jermell's. Jermell conceded to the fact that he is fighting for his brother's name and the support of his children. Yikes. Hell, he's going to take an ass whooping from Canelo just to line his brothers pockets.
Dudes whole family got deflated from getting slapped. Don't start sh!t with real men and won't be no sh!t.
Mall need to get rid of his circle of parasites. They're a bad influence on him. Partying, drinking, drugs... he's pissing his life and career earnings away and he's relying on little bro to bail him out. He should get his ass into rehab. If he's not careful, he's going to and up in a bad place eventually. I'm talking about prison or even worse...
He seems like a much more grounded guy with a much tougher attitude than his brother. Interesting to see how twins can be so different
It's sad that one twin has to rely on the other for support not just for him but for his entire family and the only thing he's doing is just dragging him down with him. This could very well be the start of both Charlo's downfall. It's also rather weird that Jermell didn't appreciate Plant slapping his twin brother because it makes HIM look bad. When you compare getting punched in the face for a living being pimp slapped should be the last thing that would make a fighter feel demoralised.
