Oh he’s tough but thinking about nobody ever catches him clean as he’s always on you and inside that range,we seen what Broner did in round 12 when he caught him with just a clean flash knock down so it is possible he ain’t as iron chinned as we make out.

Not seen it yet but it did sound like Porter actually boxed nicely against Garcia but I think in all honesty he’s a honest C+B- type guy and there’s nothing wrong in that but I do think that WBC strap flatters him somewhat and there’s many who thought Garcia deserved it which is actually my main problem with Porter as he never wins in dominant fashion, smothers his own work and it’s quite possible he doesn’t have any real power to speak of anyway.
It’s for those reasons that I’d favour Spence heavily to beat Porter ten times out of ten.

You think Porters shortened the odds?granted he sounded like he’d improved against Garcia with him actually boxing as appose to mauling but in my honest opinion it doesn’t matter how Porter fights against Spence as Spence is just that good.
I wasn’t sold on Spence till his Brook win but I am now and what I find scary is that against Brook he gave me feeling he had more had he needed it,he’d also proved he has a chin, could hang technically with Brook and when the moment came he turned on this beast mode that just walked through a tired Brook and smartly targeted the eye he’d damaged(lol how unforgiving boxing can be)perhaps his best attribute though is how he is as let me tell you it ain’t easy to win over thousands of Yorkshire Brook supporters and yet by the end all those hardened Yorkshire nutters showed him love lol(albeit in their own way)says a lot that him and Brook can still meet up and talk about that night as two warriors.
Thought Brook was a ducker until he fought Golovkin and Spence back to back out of desperation from being avoided himself.

Quite rightly Spence thinks the rest of the division are a bunch of clowns lol

I think he was over rated before Brook as we had nothing to go off but seriously after winning far from home against a Brook that still would of beaten 99% of the division inc Thurman imo I said then that I’d never underestimate Spence again.
If he don’t KO Porter he still gets a stoppage in my book

Im sorry, but I don't see anyone stopping Porter. Is Spence the favorite? Absolutely. But, beating a broken Brook doesn't mean he will beat a dog in Porter.

You hold Spence in higher regard than I do. I think he's some kind of favorite over anybody else in the division right now (with the possible exception of Crawford), but ask me which one and by how much and you'll get different answers.

You should watch the fight when you get a chance. I saw Porter beat Danny in a close but clear fight. I also think Brook beat Porter clearly, but it was close as well and that was before GGG lit him up so that means Porter probably faced a better Brook than Spence.

We all know triangle theories don't always work in this sport, but such comparisons lead me to believe that Sean will be a handful for anybody at WW and that it is unlikely that he'll be KO'd at this point in his career. Like I said, I think Spence beats him, but he's not running over Porter. Nobody is running over Sean Porter any time soon, imo.

I'm a big Spence fan but I saw the Brook fight differently. For the first time I saw vulnerability from Spence. He looked like he could have been caught. I attribute that to the magnitude of the fight, though. It was a very big step for Spence, having to fight in Brook's backyard with the boxing world's eyes on him. I attribute his vulnerability to nerves mainly and, yes, he dealt with it, came out on top, but it could have ended differently.

I thought Porter looked slower and less tenacious for the first time. The Energizer Bunny's batteries are running low. I, therefore, think Spence stops him. He looked buzzed several times when Garcia landed. At no point did Garcia look buzzed.

His Brook win isn't that impressive IMO, especially since Brook was coming off that beating from GGG. Also, that fight was close until the stoppage. Porter fought a better Brook.

IDK, Spence is a good fighter but his resume isn't that good and I think he is still pretty untested. He could beat Porter and it wouldn't surprise me but I'd be shocked if he stopped him early in the fight or didn't struggle in spots.

Kell fought Spence when nobody wanted Spence, including him.

Point taken though him coming to the U.K. evens it up somewhat, that said with Spence I’m going off the eye test ,might be wrong but I think he got more in the tank.

Porter gets shook from time to time. Thurman certainly got his attention a couple of times as did Danny. That said, I didn't see him get any more tired than he ever does.

I get the impression that Spence will struggle more with 'boxers' rather than a brawler type in Porter.

He wont have to go looking for Porter.

You're right that Spence won't have to go looking for Porter but Porter has the worst style to watch out there. It is not entertaining. Clearly, he is a guy who comes to win at all cost. The audience be damned.
