He didn't adjust in Harrison 2...Harrison was out pointing him before he got lazy and got caught.

Jermell is just a bang average weight bully how are people not coming to terms with this even after getting clearly beat by a smaller guy

props to him. i dont expect him to admit defeat, but i wanted to see him at least acknowledge reality, which he seems to be doing.

Damn he nailed the right thing to say, no fake groveling or ignoring the issue.

It will be interesting to see if he follows through on it.

Despite Saturdays dodgy scoring Jermell is starting to be a stand up guy

Warming to him the last few months

    Fair play to him

Mad respect to him for this. THIS is how fighters build respect from the fans. There are a lot of fighters who could take notes on this.

I did not expect this from Charlo, and am very pleasantly surprised. Well done sir!! Can't wait for the rematch.

My only issue after the fight was those who thought Castano won failing to realise it was a very close right fight. To be fair the 117-111 scorecard in Charlo’s favour was reprehensible.

He sounds confident in the rematch, as do I. I'm picking Charlo by KO in the late rounds.

quite possible. wouldnt take major adjustments to better his first performance, and he was on the verge of stopping him. its also possible that castano makes his own adjustments, and doesnt get caught this time, and just outworks him again. it will be a good test of both fighters iq.

    Perfect response.

I just hope there's no fall out over purse splits.

I watched it for a second time and still had it 8/4 to Castano

    Good enjoyable fight

Credit to him for not doubling down on his post-fight comments about thinking he won the fight like many others would have because there's zero argument for that

I'll give him credit for his ring attire too because he actually made those colours work and the choice of fabric was nice too. If he'd opted for the shinny look it could have completely ruined it

I'd like to see the rematch over in Argentina though or at least with three Argentine judges appointed if it's in the US. Fair's fair.

Even bigger credit to Castano and his manager (told you the guy was a straight pimp and once again I was proven right) because he said they'd rematch Jermello in Houston. Sure it's dumb because they'll rob him again but it's straight gangster and you got to respect the size of the plums on these have gloves will travel warriors. And he was rocking a Ramones T-Shirt when he said it too.

Speaking of have gloves will travel warriors

    A bit of trivia

Of the five fighters to have held all four belts and earned the distinction of being truly undisputed in the four-belt era only Usyk has won all four of them of them on away soil and even more impressive he won them all in his opponent's backyards

Josh Taylor is the only other to have won any of his on away soil, two of which in his opponent's backyards

Both B-Hop and Jermain Taylor won all theirs at home in the US

Ditto for Crawford who won all four of his on home soil, first against Dulorme for the vacant WBO title and then against Postol and Indongo who brought their belts over to the US

Castano would've been the sixth fighter to become a four-belt undisputed king had he not been robbed but as you can see it's a lot harder to achieve when you're trying to do so in your opponent's backyard whether by hook or by crook because good chance you'll get robbed. Even Josh Taylor nearly got robbed too.
