Trout's durability is gone. Trout's speed also isn't there anymore. After fighting Cotto, Canelo, and Lara back to back he was easily put down by Daniel Dawson and struggled to a decision.

Against Jermall Trout's head movement was much slower than when he fought Canelo and Lara. Trout was eating punches he would've easily dodged 3 years before.

Against Hurd Trout's head movement was nonexistent and his legs were shot. Trout was even struggling to get off punches.

Trout is the Chisora of 154. He was a top fighter 3-4 years ago, but I have a hard time seeing him beating any top competition anymore. Sadam Ali, JRock, and even Brook would beat him now.

I have some doubt that Trout is the same guy... But unless Hurd completely beat the fight out of him it's still a solid fight.

Excellent, I knew you would turn up!

You're the guy that claimed that the first test was incorrect.
    Which it wasn't.

You're the guy that claimed that we would eat our words when the second test came back clear.
    Which they didn't.

You also claimed that Golovkin would bail out of the fight after the test came back, even though it was just contaminated meat.
Which didn't happen. Your boy CANELO pulled out of the fight.

The fact of the matter is, Canelo made the megafight flop. Not GGG. What has happened since is a result of that.

Anyway, Charlo vs Trout will be a great fight!

Jermell is actually a better fighter than Jamall and will beat Trout worse than Hurd did. I was hoping the Hurd fight was next but I guess Hurd needs to rest up and Trout is a good filler for Jermell. Or, who's ducking who?

Jermell is far worse than Jermall and will struggle mightily against Trout, who I fully expect to the distance, he's still the same guy that struggled with Martirosyan, Rosado and Jackson, there's no "improvement" here, Hatley is worthless as ****, Lubin is good, but never had a chance due to his glass jaw, and being inexperienced at the top level. Jermell will once again look normal, and thoroughly beatable, probably deserve to lose on points and Trout will be robbed again.

Jermell doesn't bring the non stop pressure like Hurd, he doesn't hit as hard as Jermall, isn't as skilled as either, even if Trout is merely a shell of himself, that's probably levels above Hatley, Jackson and Lubin, and in spite f being stopped in the Hurd fight, that was due to exhaustion, not Hurd's power, since that fight Trout has remained active and fought on an untelevised undercard match, so he should be relatively fresh going into this one. Jermell better prepare himself, because he may very well get schooled, like his bigger brother, and Hurd up until the 7th.

Trout is finished and should retire. How can the org's allow such a fight?

Damn are y’all seriously forgetting Trout tagging the sh*t out of Hurd in October.. Yes he’s past prime but he definitely a formidable foe before the Charlo/Hurd showdown in the fall.. Let’s not forget that Hurd didn’t start beating on Trout until the second half of that fight..

Ridiculous fight if true. Pure stupidity.
The Charlos continue their underwhelming resume.
Props for Trout for getting that gwap.

I think this is a high risk fight for Jermell.
Trout appears to be on the downside, but
he's still a very good boxer. Even coming off
a long layoff he outboxed Hurd severely until
he fell apart at the end.

Jermell has to be on point to win this, it may
be possible to beat Trout, even possibly stop him (now)
but Trout isn't gonna fold quickly.

Is this Jermell dude the so-called "evil" twin?

Dude, there are like 4 titles. They mean little these days. And Trout did have a tuneup a few months ago.
Fact is that Jemell and Trout are two of the best at 154, meaning its a good fight. Not that Trout is the best option, but he is most definitely a good one.

If Thurman is out for the rest of the year, will the winner of Pacquiao-Matthysse become the full WBA champion?
