Hmmmm, even more reason to believe/wish (at my own peril) we will get an honest decision this time out. I had Charlo beating Trout but I think the Martirosyan fight was much harder for me to judge, the kind of fights that a rematch is required for but probably Charlo said 'move on to bigger and better' or something like that and then..... fought a few more bouts at the same level

12 rounds? There's going to be a third fight?

Jermell Charlo did hurt him more than once, but after doing so followed up with big combos in the hope of bombing him out but most of those punches, if not all, missed. He just couldn't connect when going for the finish.

Yeah, I think it was something like that. Jermell is not even close to a great boxer, he's the definition of a guy who gets bailed out by his power over and over again. He was losing badly to John Jackson, losing badly to Rosario, and wasn't looking too hot against Cota.

Thanks. Yeah it seems suspect but maybe Maidana isn't telling the truth. I guess we'll never know either way

I think that Castano is compromised because if he had shoulder surgery there is no way he has had enough time to recover and have a proper camp so I am going with Charlo.

Charlo could have made this easy on himself from the start, but he hasn't been in the tactics improvement business for a while.

That's why I'm picking Castaño, he's not special but he's good enough that he has to be fought the right way.

Unless he's out of shape or unfocused? I can't tell what you mean here.

Sorry I meant that the huge weight cut could hinder Castano's performance on Saturday.

Not good. I wasn't happy with his team when they agreed to go to Houston for the rematch albeit anywhere in the US is obviously still Jermello's home country. But if they haven't at least petitioned for neutral judges or at least requested one from Argentina to make it a little fairer it's really dumb of them.

Hopefully he'll erase all doubts or need for a third one and win by KO, remember, he hurt Charlo early. Castano's power is deceptive. That being said, even if he wins by lopsided UD, I doubt anyone will be clamoring for Charlo to get another chance. This match is to correct the wrong Castano suffered in the first. Not the other way around. Even though PBC may think the opposite.

Yeah that was my joke anyway, though I thought the first was above average entertainment at least and I'm looking forward to this.

I'm getting worried now that I'm hearing about this weight problem and a bicep tear is a disaster because that overhand right was such an effective punch for him.

Castano is already 4 rounds down on the scorecards, so he better come out guns blazing and finish strong in the closing rounds to get the 115-113 nod.

Charlo is ****. Castano will beat him up again. Only question is if he gets the decision this time. Last time it was a blatant robbery, i doubt anything has changed. Charlo Sisters getting favorable decisions every time.

With or without corruption? The first fight was a robbery.
