Charlo destroys him he's too small and comes forward. The key to beating charlo is outboxing him not coming straight at him, that's exactly what he wants.
I think Charlo is too well rounded a fighter for Castano. He’d not be able to walk him down, or thru his punches, as he did with Teixeira. He wouldn’t be able to bully him, or just back him up via activity. If he can eat Charlo’s power, he might be able to outwork him for a decision, but I’d put him decidedly as the underdog.
How do you not understand what an excellent and incredibly tricky fighter Castano is? I find it perplexing actually.
Jermello lost to Tony freaking Harrison. Won a robbery gift over Vanes. Was getting schooled by John Jackson before Jackson's glass jaw struck again and even Harrison was beating his ass in the rematch until his glass jaw let him down. Not to mention he arguably lost to a shot Trout, got dropped by Charles Bellamy, half his wins should be on his brother's CV because they keep pulling the switcheroo after the weigh in all the time and Jermall tased Rosario who is C level from ringside. Castano was robbed against Lara, beat big punching French dangerman Soro in his backyard who would spark Jermello, just whooped Tex who upset highly touted unbeaten prospect Adames and beat Gallimore who KO'd Rosario without the use of a taser, and Castano paddled the asses of Spence and Derevyanchenko in the amateurs.
Hes too small and comes forward with short arms. He will get beaten to a pulp by Charlo. The fight will be a good one for about 5 rounds until charlos superior power and size start to break him down. You keep doubting charlo for whatever reason when he knocks castano the **** out I don't want to hear any excuses. You don't beat charlo coming forward looking to work you beat him with boxing ability like Harrison did. He's not Harrison he's too slow and too small for Charlo who won't be bothered by his power. I dont know why you can't see it? This has demolition job written all over it.
My prediction is evil twin via robbery because no way they're giving Castano the decision if it goes the distance but I don't want to hear any excuses from you when Castano's team exposes the twin's long history of pulling the switcheroo after the weigh in and Jermell's opponent is actually facing him and not a 200lb Jermallo.
If Castano tries to bull Charlo like he did Texeira, it will make for an interesting fight. Charlo is big enough to push Castano around, but he isn't really an inside fighter (Harrison made him look bad there in the 2nd fight)... he's a counterpuncher with good hand speed and reaction time who thrives when guys stand and trade with him at close to mid range. Castano's whole game is to cut distance uncomfortably close to make himself harder to hit clean.. Jermell is going to want to create space to get his shots off, but Castano is persistent and pretty elusive on the inside. Plus, I think the Texeria fight showed that Castano's hard to hurt... Texeira was teeing up with the jab & landing hard hooks to the body for most of the early rounds, but Castano barely budged... He uses his size disadvantage as an asset here because he's solidly built & good at using his guard to make himself a small target. The key is going to be conditioning and Castano's lack of power, which is his biggest weakness, imo... He just doesn't have one-punch power & Charlo has a good enough chin to repeatedly take his best shot. If it goes on the inside, I think Charlo will slowly overpower Castano with smothered hooks and uppercuts until his output slows. My guess is Charlo takes it in an ugly UD... I can't see a KO.
