The fight itself might be boring, but it's still a matchup that should be applauded and watched by fans of the sport. IMO, not all 'good fights' have to be predicated on styles. Sometimes, talent level and accomplishments dictate that a fight should happen or make a fight 'good'. Lara/Canelo was a 'good' fight, regardless of in-fight action. Same with Dawson/Hopkins, or Bradley/Alexander. Again, just my thoughts.
I see what you're saying, its just one of those fights (like all the ones you listed) that style wise I have absolutely no interest in. When Canelo and Lara were going to fight, I watched a replay because I knew it would be a snoozer. Hopkins Dawson was TERRIBLE, and Bradley Alexander was a fight that I actually thought could have been better than the styles lead it on to be...nope. I like that they are willing to let their 0 go to fight "the best" but my lord, this is going to be a snoozer. I do like Andrade, but like said before, this isnt Jermall. Jermall brings it. Jermell is more tactical and lacks the power of his brother, but his slickness will make this go the distance. I got Andrade winning a split, and I predict I will have to brew a cup of coffee 1 minute into the 3rd round.
Andrade doesn't wanna fight a haymon fighter across the pond on showtime. This fight looks like a no go.
Really good fight... I have to pick Andrade but it wouldn't be that big of an upset if Charlo won. That Dec. 13 Showtime card is looking good. Khan/Alexander, Andrade/Charlo, and isn't Thurman or Guerrero vs. TBA on that card as well...?
Jermell is gonna tap that ass. Pure boxer- thinker with decent pop. Doesn't get frazzled under pressure. He's gonna be the next star at 154.
