I’d have to favor Charlo from what I’ve seen though there’s no doubt in my mind that Hurd will be prepared to exhaust all he’s got to get inside and bring the pain. Entertainment rating on this one is off the charts for sure.

Charlo destroys Hurd in 5-7 rounds. Trout has been on the decline for a while and was also coming off a layoff of over a year. Despite all of that Hurd looked really sloppy in their with Trout. Hurd also keeps his chin wide open and unprotected when he comes in.

Not a fan of the Charlotte sister s, but those girls can sure fight. Both possess excellent speed and lights out powah!!!

Hurd vs Jermell is the battle for supremacy and with a gun to my head I would toss a coin.

Hurd could be vulnerable to this kid as he's easy to hit and despite being iron chinned, you don't want to get hit clean by a Charlotte sistah too often. Charlo also is a far better mover and appears to have a reasonable fight IQ.

As big as Jermell is, he is still out muscled by Hurd, the size difference is still large. Hurd is as big as they come @ 154 and he has the biggest engine in the division. Hurd also has a great fight IQ and is extremely versatile even considering the clumsiness he has shown in the last few fights. Hurd can fight coming forward but he has shown in the past he can box too when necessary. His jab is a game changer, when he gets it going blokes fold like a deck of cards.

Hurd has also been restricted by IBF same day weigh in, in a unification he will be even stronger and fresher.

On the decline but arguably beat Jermall in his last fight lol, yeah right!

The lay off would have made him fresher, it wouldn't effect his punch resistance. Lay offs usually effect timing and sharpness, Trout however looked as sharp as ever. This was a very good Trout, not declined at all.

This is a great fight, I got Iron man Charlo by UD in a competitive fight.

Trout looked extremely stiff and slow. I also think he was alreadly on the decline in the Charlo fight, since his handspeed and reflexes weren't as good as they used to be, but he was at least active. Fighting Cotto, Canelo, and Lara all within 1 year really diminished his durability.

    Trout has an amazing resume
Fought Cotto, Canelo, Lara, Charlo and now Hurd.

I think Charlo would be the favorite. Wtf is up with the way Hurd moves around the ring? He switches stances to move everywhere it seems... Doesn't seem like the most sound thing, at some point during a switch you become square and if you got punched HARD when that happened, you would get KO'd, whether your legs buckled or not.

Just saw too many flaws with Hurd. Would definitely favor Charlo, even though I don't really like him.
