    Great first round performance by Alcine. I think he threw a total of 4 punches. I've seen middle school first dates with more physical contacts than this fight.

    Charlo is working his way around Alcine, clockwise, extending the quick jab into Alcine's forehead and firing a few straights when Alcine jumps in with hooks. Alcine keeps his upper half leaned back and carries his left arm low, flipping it up while pursuing Charlo in a sprawl, pressuring steadily but at low speed, not taking many risks.

    Charlo is blocking Alcine's up-jabs on his left wrist and dropping the drawbridge to intercept them halfway. Alcine wings a few looping punches while falling atop Charlo, swarming, grabbed around the waist and stalled until the ref orders a break. 1-2 up top and left hook on the body by Charlo. Alcine is jabbing into the guard, pressing forward, ducking in front of Charlo, seeking an opening, peeking between his gloves.

    Charlo is swaying from side to side and slipping the Alcine jab, which is now drawn up his side and snaked out from chest-high. Alcine is scrabbling his way into the clinch with looping body shots after dispensing with the jab as he steps in near Charlo. Short, deliberate, rocking-chair steps by Charlo going left. Quick left hook counter by Charlo. Alcine is stunned, on shaky legs. Charlo patiently continues his circling, letting him off Scot free. One more hook put in by Charlo, and it has further effect on Alcine just before the bell.

    Charlo is placing his feet with only marginal degrees of movement other than up & down, as though getting them unstuck from mud and replanting them. Another long hook by Charlo, spiraling in on Alcine, hurting the older man. Charlo, however, is the first to go down moments later - not ruled a knockdown. Slip or trip/entanglement, unclear. Alcine is jabbing between Charlo's eyes, mostly getting trapped with Charlo squeezing his thumbs closed over Alcine's fist, but some tickling beneath Charlo's hairline. Big straight punching sequence by Charlo, pursuing Alcine into the ropes.

    JRock couldn't KO him even though he dropped 3 or 4 times IIRC....so I'm not expecting a stoppage.
