Brook should either retire or fight a couple easy fights...............he has not been the same since getting badly damaged by Golovkin...........

I think the fight plays out very similar to Spence Vs Brook.

No its the trainer you idiot, ingle has been with kell for many years, the promoter presents fights for the fighter, its up to the fighter and his trainer to decide whether its a good idea to take it. Hearn was just doing his job in offering them fights, their greed £ made them take it.

Jermell is a lion and Brook is prey.
Brook don't want or need that work, health is more important than money.

Brook just isnt that good. I was wrong about him and really saw some poor skills against Spence.

You have an interesting view of society. I think probably Ayn Rand was cheerier. So tell me, why does a promoter not have any responsibility to look out for the welfare of his fighters? Free markets and that sort of thing?

Why is it the promoter's responsibility to look out for a fighter and not the trainer? The trainer spends time with his fighter on a day to day basis in training camps, knows him very well, usually has a good relationship with the fighter. If Dominic Ingle thought the ggg fight was a danger to kell's health then he should have said no, we are not taking this fight.

It is both. Hearn makes the most money on these fights, more than Brook I imagine. Should he not at least have a concern for Brook's health and safety? Even Lou DiBella refused to let Martinez fight GGG saying "I'm not letting him in the ring with that animal". DiBella is a promoter with a sense of responsibility for the well being of his fighters. There's actually a doctor and a referee checking on the health and safety of the fighter between rounds because of how dangerous the sport is. But you're telling me Hearn has no responsibilities?

At 154 Brook should be looking to fight Brian Rose, Liam Williams, Liam Smith type of competition before thinking about getting in with Charlo or anyone else in the top 5 at 154. I'm not sure he would be able to cope with the size at 154 despite fighting at 160 previously. He is a big welter but that doesn't mean he might be small for 154 like how Martin Murray is big at MW but small at SMW or Cotto at 154.

yes, he has some but ultimately its the trainer / fighter as they are the ones who decide if they take the fight. Hearn could say to brook you can fight kovalev for £10 million, if brooks team chose to take that ridiculously dangerous fight then it's their fault when he gets beaten up (i know its an unrealistic example but its the same principle, take a dangerous fight for a lot of money then its your fault if you get beaten up)

Brook a day before he fought ggg edges it on points but now I'd say charlo due to brook being quote damaged don't think he can come back from that at that level

Brook don't want none of them top flight gents at 154. Why do you guys think that he chose to stay at 147? In his mind, it was the lesser of two evils. He can spin it anyway he wants to but his actions exposed what his mind was thinking.
