Yes he lost his way and started fighting like an idiot, besides he handled Brown easily in their rematch, Charlo is nowhere near as dangerous as Jackson was and doesn`t have his hand speed either.

Charlo is easily in Jackson's league. He just unified 15r if you were paying attention.

Closer fight than most think. Norris didn't have the best chin and Charlo can punch. This fight would be an all out war. I wish we had a time machine so it could be made.

A prime focused Norris by vicious early stoppage.

lol! Those fighters wouldn`t have stood a chance v Jackson who blew out a slick middleweight like Graham with one shot and had to fight McCallum in his first crack at a title, McCallum would have toyed with any fighter at 154 today. Jackson had one punch power and could set up KO`s brilliantly.

It wouldn`t be a war, Norris wasn`t a brawler when he first won a title, it would be a cagey boxing match, like the second Brown fight.

People forget that Norris was his own worst enemy and has lost to fighters that he could have easily beaten had he just controlled himself more. I still don't know any other fighter who has lost his title to the same journeyman TWICE via DQ.
Norris should beat Charlo just based on his superior talents and skills alone. The only way for Norris to really lose this fight against Charlo is if he beats himself by getting overly excited and temperamental to the point where it can go 2 ways: He gets himself DQ’d, or he gets KO’d by leaving himself open while being overly aggressive. Charlo can be quite the puncher when he sits down on his punches.

It would be a war for as long as it lasted.

He got taken out in 2 rounds McCallum. Not exactly a resume builder.

    Graham wasn’t at 154.

Jackson was great apart from the six knockout loses.

Honestly I'd say Charlo, I don't think he'd win a shoot out with Little Twin and that's what that fight would become. Norris starting off very quick and moving, then devolving into a war. I think this is just a stylistic issue for him.

Disclaimer: Norris is in my top 10 Faves

Look at the amount of fights where Norris stood off and boxed, you must have only started watching Norris after a certain point in his career.

How old was Jackson in those KO losses aside from the McCallum fight? He also had McCallum in bad trouble, Charlo has never been in at that level.

He began to get repeatedly knocked out at about the age that Charlo is right now.

He had better power than Charlo, but worse stamina, chin, and boxing ability.

I ve watched plenty of Norris one of my favorite fighters. Styles make fights two big punchers squaring off.
