I've seen plenty of Norris fights and always found him highly entertaining to watch. He was a boxer-puncher first but can choose to be a brawler from time to time when he felt like he could finish off a fighter. A fight between him and Charlo would definitely be a war if Norris allows it to be one. See Terry Norris vs Troy Waters.
I don't think Jermello would get past the titanium-chinned Jorge Castro let alone dynamic offensive beast Norris. If the pressure and power of Castano, who he should be 1-1 gainst, was giving him living hell Castro's would likely drown him. Norris schooled and dropped Castro who Roy Jones said was his toughest opponent. Jorge Castro BEST BOXING SKILLS ''Terry Norris: I fought him at his absolute prime. He was very fast, way too fast for me. He was a complete fighter. You couldn’t catch him in the ring. He was a good boxer, he didn’t just go toe-to-toe with you. He fought at a distance, a smart fighter. He had defeated Sugar Ray Leonard. I thought I was going to fight Leonard too, but I ended up fighting Duran later'' This content is protected
Jermell is basically a more refined version of Terry with superior movement and boxing ability. Charlo lacks the athleticism, speed, and aggression of Norris, but I see Charlo stopping him in the later rounds.
Disagree. Charlo is the better boxer, has the better defense, and he is much more responsible than Norris ever was. If Norris had a chin, that would be a different story.
Norris wouldn't have let Charlo even get started. Castano had Charlo on the back foot for the majority of the time they fought. Norris would have him going backwards till he caught him flush.
The more I think about this the more and more I like Norris. We are taking each at their best, which in this case I think Norris wins a wide UD
Norris had better fundamentals than Charlo has and was known for great footwork early in his career. Charlo can`t do anything that Norris couldn`t.
Norris was such a dedicated and spirited person.. He was almost a poor mans Thomas Hearns, but just not as iconic and great as Tommy, but he put his all into fighting and would go for the knockout in the same way Thomas did. So I respect that.
