Rumored to be penciled in for 7/29 contingent upon Tszyu beating Tony Harrison (which just happened) and Charlo healing a hand injury on time. Nothing official and no idea yet of venue, but Charlo has stated that he is categorically unwilling to go to Australia, imploring the challenger to come to him.

WBC (fourth defense of Charlo), IBF & WBA (third defense of each by Charlo), and WBO (second defense by Charlo) super welterweight titles at stake. Tszyu is the WBO interim champion as of half an hour ago, but as of the first of March wasn't ranked by the other three major sanctioning bodies.

Its a good fight Tim has a chance I'd say, but I think Charlo is too experienced and will be much more explosive than anything Timmy has ever seen. Im leaning Charlo KO but I could see Him winning a UD.

I think Charlo will win by close decision, but I would not be surprised by a Tszyu victory.

If this fight happened in January like it was supposed to, I'd have no problem picking Charlo. Now, it's a bit closer.

Tsyzu is more experienced now and he's got even more confidence. The Harrison fight may have put him over the edge in terms of the experience he needs to take on the very best.

Except that Mell's left hand got injured since this was originally scheduled to happen last June. Even if he's 100% come fight night that could plant a seed of doubt mentally, and that's something you don't want heading in with a pressure fighter like Tszyu.

Is Charlo going to go straight into a fight with Tszyu after the long layoff/hand injury?

Either way...Tim beats him. Charlo isn't another level. He's the same level as Harrison.

Charlo is shite. He barely got past Castano twice, got a gift first time. Tim's his hardest fight in years.

Wouldn't be surprised if Tim makes him quit on his stool.

Great fight could go either way, but I'm leaning towards Charlo.

They’re both overrated. Tszyu is not his dad by any stretch should be a good fight.

Charlo has such a tight defense and he's so big for a JMW. Hard to see him losing until he fights someone w GREAT output and pressure whose also defensively responsible. Obviously a slick counter puncher like Harrison can do it too

Israil Madrimov could potentially beat both on the same night.
