Le Banner was always my favorite fighter in K1, he deserved the K1 championship. But he is just old now...

Yeah he's really up in age now. You never know in a K-1 GP though because in 2005 for instance, Feitosa managed to reach the final match starting out of the reserve bout.
Not to mention Hoost his win in 2002, Hoost who already lost in the eliminations but went on to win that year because of 4 different fighters being injured.

no le banner would not win the GP. He is not beating shilt, bonjesky, badr hari(will he be in the gp this year) hell even alistair overeem I would pick over him. he is good and the win over tyrone sponge was unexpected, but like was said before he is long in the tooth.

the tournament is stacked against him, maybe if shilt and badr are not in the gp then we will see.

Schilt is a bit of a spoiler as he's way too dominant. Hari on the other hand is capable of being the best, but also losing to the worst. Basically anything can happen with his jaw and if his opponent can punch.

You are right, now he has no chance, but a couple of years ago he was one if not the best fighter in K1.

yeah and his boxing is pretty good. I have seen one of his boxing matches and he did pretty well (the one I seen ended in ko victory for le Banner). If only he didnt have injuries and was a bit younger he may have had a decent career in boxing as well as kickboxing.
