They would be Champions in any other era. Just like Tony Tubbs, Razor Ruddock, Ike Ibeabuchi, and David Tua. These are the real GOATs.

Ali who? That bum who fought no hopers named Alfredo.

 It is funny that all good contenders get elevated to "Champions in any other era" status. ...Although Tubbs actually was a titlist.

On an atg basis, Norton will always rank higher than Quarry because of his 3 bout series vs Ali and how well he did in all 3, especially I & III. Jerry can't match that...but on a h2h basis..with both at their best, Quarry stops Norton..Quarry would be just another effective puncher who would have Norton's number.

Norton really beat Ali twice! Wins over Quarry, Stander, and Young round off his resume. In fact, Norton looks better vs Stander and Quarry than Joe Frazier did. A razor thin loss to a prime Larry Holmes round out Norton's resume. I think Norton was the better of the two. IMO, top 25 for Norton. Quarry, more like top 35-50.
