Jerry Quarry appeared on NBC's 'I Dream of Jeannie'.

Aired, November 18, 1968 - {Taped in August 1968} right after he was recuperating from a Water Jet Ski injury.

together a Sonny Liston vs. Jerry Quarry bout.

Do you remember my beloved Patterson in a couple of 60's shows?
''Wild Wild West" Floyd played a homesteader who's property was being taken over by a land baron. A natural actor, he rallied his fellow homesteaders behind Jim and Artemis in a great speech. Not to mention he left-hooked a couple of nasty cowboys into oblivion and got the good-looking babe in the end.

Also, played a freed slave in a Daniel Boone episode. My boy had talent.

I saw that episode twice back in the mid 1970s. In his climactic brawl with the obligatory gang of thugs, Steve Austin tries to punch Foreman's character, George blocks the shot, exclaiming "Wait!," Austin attempts a second blow which is stopped with Foreman's character again pleading, "Wait!," then bowls George over with a third shot in slo-mo (with the familiar sound effects Chevy Chase parodied in 'Caddyshack'), before Foreman looks up from the floor and says again, "Wait! I'm one of the good guys!," (his persona was ambiguous until this moment) whereupon the two of them proceed to clean house. (Afterward, George approaches him smiling and says something to the effect of, "Y'know, I've been punched a few times in my life, but never like that! How'dya learn to do that?"-to which Lee Majors probably delivered one of Austin's wise-ass explanations like "Vitamins!")

Foreman appeared as himself in an episode of 'Sanford and Son,' where Fred attempts to direct him in an acting performance. In the climactic scene, Red Foxx shows up bald for his directing debut, and instructs George to punch the wall in frustration with greater and greater conviction, causing Foreman to inure his hand. At the conclusion of the episode, Lamont reads a letter to himself by George to Fred aloud, where Foreman finishes with the punchline, "By the way, tell Mr. Sanford that his head is my favorite color: Meat!"
