I met him,he is from Belgrade!
Stupid communist take from his rich ancestors everything they had!
Communistic regime is to take everything from rich people, kill them and steal their stuffs and using them as theirs!
Ask Bozic about them if you met him sometime!
    His great grandfather was inventor!

He could beat a weak champion, but he could also loose to a weak champion.

In a strong era he is unlikely to become champion.

In a weak era it turns on timing.

Jerry would have been a mainstay in any era, yet 1980 on he would have been the prototype Cruiser 195 lbs

Boxing killed the Quarry brothers , no doubt about it, and its sad how 90 % , especially the oldtimers, end up punchy and broke., and its a sport?

Maybe the fictional Balboa had it made, after locker and towel, he still made 20 bucks to take Adrian out with

Boxing progressed the fighters before WW ll couldn’t fight with heavies of 21st century. They’re on a different level. WW ll to 1973 talent took a big leap due mostly to integration. Black fighters finally getting a chance to fight for the title. 1974 to 2000 the talent rose with the times. World population grew and training technics and nutrition improved. Quarry was a good contender in 60s and early 70s. Couldn’t be a top fighter today. They’re too big and talented. But back before WW ll he could beat allot of people. He had modern technic that had evolved and improved. I think only ones that could beat at his best were Johnson and Louis.

I’ll shock a few here & say a prime Quarry has an outside shot of beating prime Foreman in Zaire in Ali’s place.
