quarry. haye would knock him down in the first and quarry would rebound and knock him out in the second or third

Haye is physically gifted, but is still too raw for a fighter with solid fundamentals that is strong enough to stand up to him.

    Quarry mid rounds stoppage.

Thats a great fight. Recently saw a few of Quarry's fights and was especially impressed by his performance against Ron Lyle. Still he only knew one way to fight and i can see Haye's reach advantage (im sure he's bigger) with a 1-2 taking him out, but if he let Quarry crowd him he could get took out early. For me this ends inside the distance and most probably in the 2nd half.

I'd say its a pick 'em fight. My heart wants quarry, but Haye is more than a dangerous foe. I can't see either man taking the other's best for 12. Someone is getting stopped by the mid point, but who I couldn't say for sure...

I am inclined to lean towards Quarry on this one, mainly because Haye is still unproven at heavyweight, in my opinion.

In a few fights, I might sing a different tune.

And to El Radar, you are correct. Haye's reach according to Boxrec is 78", while Quarry's is 72".

I say Haye is still too green for a peak Jerry Quarry. I go for Quarry by Ko after soaking up Hayes bombs. That's at cruiserweight or heavyweight.

Jerry takes Haye apart in a total blow out, Quarry by KO.

Absolutely nothing in Haye's career that would even make me consider him beating Jerry.

Maybe in time this is a fight I will change my opinion on but I mean come on, he has had 2 fights at heavy.

He has really only beaten guys who would have been barely club fighters in the era Jerry fought in.

Quarry in a Shavers - Quarry like fight with Haye fairing better but inevitably being dropped or TKO.

this ain't even close, quarry gets Haye outta there, the guy was sound, had a strong base and was teak tough, with haye's chin and recklessness its a KO for Quarry

Quarry would beat him. Jerry had a much better chin.
