And he also got knocked out by two C level fighters in his career. One who was a crack-head and one who was a knock out in waiting for anyone with a pulse. And no HW version of Holyfield beats the version of Toney that he fought.
I wouldn't go as far to say he'd clobber Quarry...it would be hard, but Lennoz should wina UD or late stoppage
I would not say Lewis was one of the best punchers ever. Great boxer, though. Quarry would probably lose on cuts in the middle rounds.
quarry would of had a good go but it think lewis's size (not weight) is the advantage. his jab and uppercut would catch the smaller man. problem with quarry is that his style is a aggressive counterpuncher and is a great all rounder...better than ali and frazier in that sense. he was a giant killer aswell.. all big men had probelms with him. lewis i dont think can stop him. jerry is a surviver, had a cast iron chin also has some solid skills to get him in and out of a brawl. which leads on to why he never got the best of fraizer or ali was that he boxed with ali...twice and for some reason did a no show against him in the rematch. and to brawl with frazier....and do pretty well.
If we are talking about the best versions of both fighters, Lewis takes him out in 6, uncompetitive rounds. Lewis could control distance very well. This is a mercy stoppage.
