Interesting fight. I'm going with Spinks by close but unanimous decision.

I like this fight, and I think Quarry wins it.

I could see a good argument for either side.

I think Spinks is tricky and awkward and manages distance well enough, smart enough to make it difficult for Jerry and spoil him.

I could also say Quarry could box or slug and was good at both. He would want to get inside on Spinks. He counters well enough to make it count when Spinks comes in.

Overall I have trouble seeing Quarry stop Spinks, and Quarry could be too tough for his own good.

Probably Spinks wins a decision, maybe cuts him and stops him.

Ellis made Quarry look completely ordinary and went even or maybe took the shorter end of the stick against Patterson.

Spinks is quicker on the trigger and had much better movement than Patterson did in those fights and hit harder and was a better boxer than Ellis.

Spinks only loss was to a rampaging Iron Mike. Quarry would have difficulties with Spinks's awkward style, workrate and slickness. Quarry unable to solve Spinks style. Spinks pts.

I'll go with Spinks. He is of better breed, more polished, far more skilled and athletic, slips punches better, quicker, better footwork, jab, combinations, sharper, the whole works. I dont see Jerry over powering him

Yeah. Spinks gets underrated due to that loss to a prime Tyson.

    • Spinks wins imo in an entertaining fight .As the fight draws to a close with not much between the two ,Spinks opens up on Jerry ,hurts him and drops him .The kd seals the decision for the Jinx .
