Jerry Quarry vs Roy Jones, Jr

    I used to sell Quarry short as a white hope wet dream.... but the more I watch him, the more I am impressed with his skill and power. He was pretty damn good.

    As far as Roy, he had one heavyweight fight and after that went downhill fast (usual for guys at an advanced age going up and then down in weight). I just don't know what to think of him at this weight.

    I'm going to shade towards Quarry here. He wouldn't get potshotted if in fit form. And Roy would have a lot of questions to answer from Jerry's versatility and output.

    Quarry would basically do better against Roy than he did v Ali who would have destroyed Jones easily because Ruiz was able to catch Jones so Ali would have jabbed his head off because of his reach and hand speed, Roy wouldn`t have AAli`s jab to keep Jerry off, he wasn`t long enough for heavyweight at all.
