    I would favor Quarry on resume but Chagaev had some stylistic attributes that might make him a problematic opponent

    I definitely think it's a match that could go either way. Sad that we didn't get to see more from Ruslan.

    He had fast hands and was a smart fighter. Kind of underrated skill wise

    Chagaev did come at guys, and that would give Quarry opportunities since he’s an elite counterpuncher, but it all depends on how Quarry did against southpaws, I don’t know if he fought any.
    (Edit, just watched his Bodell fight, he dealt with him easily)
    Chagaev looks more ‘conventionally correct’ by technique standards, the way he shapes up and how he sets up punches, the way he moves his body and feet etc, but that doesn’t always win fights.
