Nope way too small and limited. Quarry was considered small in the 60s and 70s he would be tiny against a SHW like Klitchsko and hasn't shown he can deal with someone on his level. Easy Klitchsko win
Wlad specialized in running through small but game fighters like this. His entire style was poison to these guys. Sorry Jerry.
Quarry’s skillset would be rendered utterly useless here, Wlad picks him off at range, Quarry can’t get anywhere near Klitschko, Quarry capitalised on mistakes when guys would overreach and load up, Klitschko, if anything, didn’t take risks even when he could’ve sometimes, but this would suit him against Quarry as Quarry, first off, wasn’t one to force the action himself and secondly, even hid he did, Klitschko could just grab him and manhandle him because of the size difference. If Quarry was bigger, he might be able to force the action more and force Klitschko to work, I’d still doubt it because of the style of Quarry, but because of the actual size difference, the pace would be dictated entirely by Klitschko because he can tow Quarry up if he ever gets in range and the on the outside, he can just pick him apart.
Wlad's physical abilities and boxing mind are two different things. I think any Wlad without Manny in his corner loses.
Counter punching isn’t going to work on someone with that much height, reach and outside fighting ability.
