No he didnt he said I'm sorry Joe because it was a poor performance from Louis,he was in no doubt he thought he won the fight. He said Walcott just ran in the later rounds and did not try and take the title away from him. Do you believe Walcott when he said he blacked out in the middle of the count in the second Marciano fight? Because nobody else, including his seconds did! You think you can judge a 15rds fight from 18minutes of edited highlights? Aren' t you the guy who watched two obvious actors, pretending to be Fitzsimmons and Jeffries ,landing pit a pat punches on each other in tiny ring and thought it was a real fight? Me,I think you of all people are disqualified from having their opinion taken seriously here. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?...B8A574DBF03238915D71B8A&view=detail&FORM=VIRE
No they were not. There were some cards that gave Walcott 9, 10, 11 and 12 rounds! By contrast almost all the Louis cards had him win 8 of the 15 rounds, just enough to win it. I think that says something.
It could also be the 27 minutes of footage they edited out were of Walcott running (who'd want to watch that?), which according to ringside accounts he was doing an awful lot of.
Of the three officials only the referee voted for Walcott, and he gave it to him by the margin of a single round.
