Awesome Video. Walcott is a top 15 heavyweight of all time. Would have liked to seen some Hein Ten Hoff footage on there...but still awesome! you captured Walcotts punching abilities along with his amazing footwork.

    Nice vid!
Walcott fought in Sweden once in 1949 against Olle Tandberg and won by tko in the fifth.
    I like Walcott,he was a tough fighter.

bring back Heavyweights that are stylish boxers and fighters, Get Rid of the SUPER Heavyweights, a new and **** division of giants S-HW.

Jersey Joe is definately one of the greatest and it's only those that don't see back that don't know this!

I still won't forgive him for ko'ing my man Ezzard Charles in their third fight lol. Nonetheless, he fought beautifully and was a joy to look at. I've seen most of your tributes of fighters tommy and I must say I'm impressed. Keep up the good work.

Not only that but his defensive skills. He could slip punches, roll punches with his head, and use his shoulders to roll punches.

I agree,Walcott who I saw KO a great puncher Tommy Gomez in MSG in 1946, was a late bloomer...At his best,he would give ANYONE a run for their money, includind Ali. At the age of 38 he gave Marciano all he could handle...For perspective Ali at age 38 was through and badly whipped by Larry Holmes...I have always believed styles make fights and crafty and
hard punching Jersey Joe Walcott, would have beaten Ali at their absolute peaks..He would have outcrafted Ali, and tagged Ali with his powerful right hand and lethal left hook, ala,Ezzard Charles..Walcott was one of my favorite Heavyweights of alltime...
